Our Company
Channer’s Men’s & Ladies Apparel in London, Ontario, has become one of the city’s best-known independent fashion retailers. The business was founded by Peter Channer and Trudy Channer in 1997. Before operating as Channer’s, the business was known as Sammons & Channer and was located in Westmount Shopping Centre.
In 1999, the company moved to its current standalone location at Wonderland Road and Commissioners Road.
In 2002, the store expanded significantly, adding a dedicated women’s fashion department and doubling its size. At that point it became known as Channer’s Men’s & Ladies Apparel.
Over the years, the store built its reputation on personalized styling, luxury designer brands, custom tailoring, and wardrobe consultation services. The company emphasizes quality, service, and timeless fashion rather than fast fashion trends.
Today, Channer’s remains family-owned and operated and has grown into a fashion destination for both men’s and women’s designer apparel in Southwestern Ontario.

What is the return policy?
If one of your purchases fails to live up to reasonable expectations, feel free to return it for a replacement, refund or repair.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for exchange or in-store credit.
You have 7 days to return your item for a full refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
No refund without proof of purchase. No refund on sale merchandise.

The staff at Channer’s are trained to recommend an outfit for any occasion. We are dedicated to ensuring you look your best—using the brands and variety of looks Channer’s have to offer. Whether it is a specific item, a wardrobe makeover, or just to enjoy an espresso while sneaking a peek at the latest fashions from around the world, our laid-back environment and skilled staff make it an enjoyable experience.
- Custom Tailoring: Our expert tailors will take precise measurements and provide meticulous alterations, ensuring your garments flatter your body shape and enhance your confidence
- Style Consultations: Our experienced stylists will engage in an in-depth discussion of your lifestyle, preferences, and goals, offering expert advice on colours, cuts, and trends. We'll curate a selection of garments that match your unique style, helping you express yourself with confidence and build a wardrobe that reflects your professional image and aspirations.
- In-Store Wardrobe Consultation: Our experts will analyze your existing clothing, identify key pieces and missing essentials, and provide personalized recommendations for new additions and styling tips.
- Wedding Party Fitting (Men's): Our expert team will provide guidance on selecting the perfect attire, coordinating styles and colours, and ensuring a personalized fit for each member of the party.
Do you offer alterations or tailoring?
On-site tailoring is available at Channer’s. Any regular priced merchandise will be altered free of charge. For clothes that have already been worn, please consider our tailor and have the items cleaned prior to bringing them in. We are also happy to tailor merchandise bought elsewhere, however tailoring charges may apply.
Do you offer a delivery service?
Not only do we offer delivery, we will ship gifts or altered items across Canada, at our expense. See us in-store for details.
