On Thursday, November 6, the London Hunt & Country Club became more than a beautiful venue, it became a runway for change.

Set against one of London’s most elegant backdrops, Channer’s annual Charity Fashion Show once again brought together fashion enthusiasts, community leaders, loyal clients, and longtime supporters for an evening where style met purpose. This year’s event invited guests on “A Global Journey of Fashion and Flavour.” Under the theme From Paris to New York — Your Passport to Style & Impact Awaits, attendees experienced the inspired ambiance, style, and tastes of Paris, Italy, and New York as they explored each destination before the show began.

In support of ovarian cancer research at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), the night raised $125,000, a remarkable achievement that brings Channer’s total fundraising impact to over $450,000. All of which is directed toward critical research happening right here in our community.

This annual charity fashion show has become a cornerstone of Channer’s commitment to giving back. What began as a simple idea to blend fashion and philanthropy has grown into a powerful celebration of style, strength, and community spirit. Rooted in personal experience, as ovarian cancer has touched the Channer family twice, this has grown into a powerful community-driven event, bringing together clients, designers, partners, and supporters year after year. The consistency of this support is what makes real progress possible and not just in funding research, but in raising awareness and keeping the conversation going.

Fashion has always been a connector. It brings people into the same room, creates shared experiences, and offers a platform to tell meaningful stories. At Channer’s, we believe that when fashion is used with purpose, it can move beyond style and become a catalyst for change and that is something that truly makes a difference close to home.

An Elevated Evening of Fashion

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was unmistakably Channer’s: polished yet welcoming, refined yet relaxed. Thoughtfully styled spaces, warm lighting, and an air of anticipation set the tone for a night designed to inspire. Between destination-themed tasting stations, guests stopped by the Vogue Magazine Cover Photo Booth to strike their best pose for a personalized, cover-worthy snapshot.

Guests enjoyed a professionally produced runway show, gourmet food and cocktails, and exclusive live and silent auctions, all unfolding seamlessly within the classic elegance of the London Hunt & Country Club. Conversations flowed easily, glasses were raised, and the room buzzed with a shared sense of purpose.

But while the evening delivered on every detail, the true centrepiece was the fashion. Each look that stepped onto the runway reflected what Channer’s is known for: timeless design, exceptional quality, and effortless confidence that is curated for real people, real lives, and real moments.

The Men’s Runway: Modern Tailoring, Refined Ease

The men’s collections showcased sharp tailoring balanced with relaxed sophistication, perfect for today’s modern professional. One of the highlights of the men's presentation was seeing Dr. Akira Sugimoto, Assistant Professor at LHSC, join our lineup of models to walk the runway!

The Men of the Runway: Our gratitude to our gentlemen models:  Josh Flemming, Matt Gordan, Collin Johnstone, Craig Geerlinks, Mitch Vandergunst, Nick North, Matt Martin, Cole Allingham, Dr. Akira Sugimoto, Will Matic, & John Baker

The men’s runway focused on a clean, versatile look, anchored by the high-quality shirts from Eton and Sonrisa alongside the classic style of Polo Ralph Lauren. The collection moved easily from comfortable Italian knitwear by Gran Sasso, Filippo De Laurentiis, and Settefilli to the sharp, polished tailoring of Canali, Zegna, and L.B.M. This luxury foundation was balanced out by the simple, clean lines of Common Projects sneakers, timeless Allen Edmonds footwear, and handcrafted belts from Anderson’s. We introduced more modern textures with Gimo’s outerwear and the bold look of John Varvatos, while highlighting the perfect fit with Tramarossa denim, GTA and Pescarolo trousers, and custom suits from Jack Victor and Coppley. Topped off with elegant ties from Dion, the show captured everything you need for a long-lasting, effortless wardrobe.

The Women’s Runway: Effortless Luxury, Designed to Move With You

The women’s runway was a celebration of modern femininity, where luxurious fabrics, thoughtful tailoring, and effortless silhouettes came together to support real life. Each look was designed to move seamlessly from day to evening, work to weekend, reflecting the way women truly live, work, and dress.

The Ladies of the Runway: Our deepest gratitude to our incredible women models: Bev Makins, Lynn Davis, Beverley Barrie, Jade McGregor, Alyssa Tisdale, Madonna McConville, Malindi Pilgrim, Veronica Geerlinks, Meaghan Terzis, Sofia Tabeshfard, Valentina Taylor.

From the classic heritage of POLO Ralph Lauren and the architectural minimalism of Liviana Conti to the structured, fashion-forward tailoring of L’AGENCE, the runway showcased a masterclass in effortless luxury. Vibrant, contemporary designs from Alice & Olivia blended seamlessly with the European refinement of Riani and Luisa Cerano. The collection was further elevated by the iconic luxury of Sentaler outerwear, the sophisticated silhouettes of Shan, and the edgy, polished leather of LAMARQUE. Together, these brands told a cohesive story of timeless, wearable elegance, reinforcing why Channer’s remains the premier destination for high-end fashion curated for the modern woman.

Fashion That Gives Back

Beyond the runway, the heart of the evening was its purpose.

We were thrilled to have Dr. Akira Sugimoto, Assistant Professor at LHSC, join our lineup of models on the runway this year. Later in the evening, Dr. Sugimoto shared powerful remarks regarding the Translational Ovarian Cancer Research Unit. His work is fueled by the funds raised at this event, and his insights reminded us all of the real-world impact these research dollars have on patients and families in our community.

Every ticket purchased and auction bid placed directly supported ovarian cancer research at LHSC. Funding this research ensures that dollars raised benefit patients and medical teams within our community. The continued generosity of attendees, sponsors, and supporters allows this research to move forward, year after year.
