Why Coppley Custom Suits

Coppley's history goes back further than most suit brands on the market today. The company started in the late 1800s manufacturing uniforms for Canada's military, police, fire, and hotel sectors, then added men's tailored clothing in the early 1920s under a handful of different brand names. By the 1980s, Coppley had built a reputation as a forward-thinking, fashion-forward apparel maker, and it entered the American men's tailored clothing market in the early 1990s. By the late 1990s, the company had consolidated its Canadian-made lines under one name: Coppley.

That's over 140 years in continuous operation, all of it still manufactured in Canada rather than overseas.
