100% Made-to-Measure Custom Suits
Luigi Bianchi has been hand-building tailored suits in Mantua, Italy since 1911, and the company is still run today by the fourth generation of the founding family. That same standard of craftsmanship goes into every made-to-measure suit built for you at Channers.
Luigi Bianchi's made-to-measure program is built around personalization, from seasonal fabric, pattern, and colour choices to which of its collections best suits the occasion, including Cerimonia, the brand's dedicated line for weddings and formal events.
Whether it's a classic business suit or something built for a wedding, a Luigi Bianchi made-to-measure order gives you access to over a century of Italian tailoring experience.
Why Luigi Bianchi Is the Best Choice
A few things set Luigi Bianchi apart from a typical made-to-measure order.
Luigi Bianchi runs a dedicated ceremony and wedding collection, Cerimonia, rather than adapting a general suit for the occasion. For anyone shopping specifically for a wedding, that's a suit line built around that need from the start.
The company also completes made-to-measure production in as few as 15 working days once your order is placed, one of the faster turnarounds in the made-to-measure world, since Luigi Bianchi trains its retail partners directly and keeps the whole process, from cutting to finishing, inside its own Mantua factory rather than splitting it across facilities.
On top of that, this is a company that's been run by the same family for four generations. The standards for fit and finish were set over a century ago and passed down, rather than reset every time ownership changes hands.
What's Involved in a Luigi Bianchi Custom Suit
Ordering a Luigi Bianchi made-to-measure suit at Channers starts with a consultation. Our team is trained directly by Luigi Bianchi to take the detailed measurements and preferences the company needs to build your suit, all recorded in a personal file for this order and any future ones.
From there, personalization runs through fabric, pattern, finish, and colour. Luigi Bianchi updates its fabric range every season with new colours and exclusive patterns, so what's available depends somewhat on when you order. You'll also choose which collection fits the occasion: Sartoria for classic, everyday tailoring, or Cerimonia if you're dressing for a wedding or a formal event.
Once your choices are finalized, production runs on Luigi Bianchi's end, with suits typically ready in as few as 15 working days, before your final fitting and any alterations at Channers
Why Luigi Bianchi
Luigi Bianchi founded his tailoring house in Mantua in 1911, originally registered as "Primaria Sartoria Luigi Bianchi." The company grew quickly, employing 250 people by 1933 and over 400 by 1936, and took the name Lubiam (Luigi Bianchi Mantova) in 1939 under the direction of Luigi's son, Edgardo. The third generation, Giuliano and Luigi Jr., took over in the 1970s and expanded the brand into the United States, Europe, China, and Japan.
The company celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2011 and is now run by the fourth generation of the Bianchi family, with every garment still cut and finished in the original Mantua factory.
Seen In Luigi Bianchi: Celebrities and Influencers
Italian actor Giorgio Pasotti wore a Luigi Bianchi Flirt white dinner jacket on the red carpet at the Festival TV di Monte Carlo, one of European television's higher-profile award events.
Luigi Bianchi has also dressed cast members of Netflix Italy's Love Is Blind Italia for the show's reveal episode. Nicola Botticini wore a blue shawl-lapel tuxedo, Daviduccio wore a hazelnut jacket paired with ivory trousers, and Alessandro Bianchin wore a black made-to-measure tuxedo, all from the Luigi Bianchi Flirt collection.
The brand has also styled staff at MEC in Palermo, Sicily's first museum of informatics and a Michelin-starred dining destination, in Luigi Bianchi Sartoria made-to-measure garments, pairing the venue's mix of tech history and hospitality with its own tailoring.
Whatever the event, red carpet, streaming premiere, or a night out, the same made-to-measure process is available to you through Channers.
